Founded in 1973, AACI is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals and families with cultural humility, sensitivity and respect, advocating for and serving the marginalized and ethnic communities in Santa Clara County.

I found myself wearing many hats as the Marketing & Communications Coordinator at Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI). I was the main marketer and designer creating brand-aligned visuals and content that represent AACI. I lead and managed all general agency marketing projects and campaigns from strategy to design with stakeholder buy-in and consideration to clients. I created marketing materials including creating content, designing, strategizing, and managing marketing campaigns and projects.
In addition, I made significant website updates (aaci.org) and ran all AACI social media (FB, Twitter, IG, LinkedIn, YouTube - @aaciorg), increasing our digital brand awareness and reach by 4x. The marketing campaigns I ran 2X the amount average raised.

I helped create banners and boards to help advertise and promote AACI's new health clinic location.

I created a marketing campaign for Afghan Refugee Resettlement in Santa Clara County to provide AACI's Centers of Survivors and Torture Afghan refugee clients with essential household items to help them rebuild their homes in Santa Clara County.
2022 AACI Afghan Refugee Virtual Town Hall
I created marketing material for AACI's Virtual Town Hall in partnership with Santa Clara County, attracting the attention and attendance of The White House.

I created a new design for AACI's Annual Report using a more modern, clean, and flexible approach.

Ask AACI Video Series
I produced and launched the Ask AACI video series to provide our community with health education and tips virtually and build an authoritative digital presence.
2021 Helping Hand Campaign
I strategized combining two of our largest marketing campaigns (Holiday Drive & Year-End Appeal) that usually run separately and concurrently into one large marketing campaign, increasing efficiency, bandwidth, impact, and donations. I created the marketing materials for this marketing campaign, including staged and shot client photography.

I created a year-end touch point holiday card to send to our clients.
2021 Better Together Virtual Gala Campaign
Better Together is AACI's largest fundraising event and campaign. I helped curate a client and create the theme and the marketing materials for the event.
social media Campaigns
I collaborated with different departments and programs to strategize, create, and manage several different social media campaigns to raise awareness about the different services we offer and the awareness days our community celebrates.
AACI Health Center New Patient Welcome Mailer Packet
I collaborated with AACI's Health Department and AACI's Doctors to spearhead, strategize, create, and manage AACI Health Center New Patient Welcome Mailer Packet as a touch point to invite patients to establish care at AACI.
Community Outreach Events
I collaborated with AACI's Health Department to strategize, create, and manage marketing materials for community outreach events such as COVID-19 vaccination events with AACI.

Give In May is a touch-point marketing campaign AACI participates in every year on social media. I strategized, created, and managed new a marketing campaign to highlight the work AACI has done in the past year to support our community and to encourage continued support of AACI.
